Agilent Seahorse XF RPMI medium, pH 7.4, 500 mL, with 5 mM HEPES, without phenol red, sodium bicarbonate, glucose, sodium pyruvate, L-glutamine. Seahorse XF assay media are formulated based on common culture media DMEM or RPMI, and optimized for use in XF assays. Unlike typical growth/culture media, they are free of bicarbonate, low in buffer capacity, and contains low or no phenol red, which are important features for achieving quality results. Seahorse XF Media do not contain typical supplements, such as glucose, glutamine and pyruvate, allowing for customization to assay conditions of interest.
