Brew Plate™ Overview
The Brew Plate™ line offers testing kits and bulk media to help brewers detect common microbes that cause contamination during brewing. Contaminated samples can be sent to the Brew Plate Laboratory for microbial identification.
Kits test 5 contamination points, while bulk sleeves contain 25 plates with multiple media types for yeast detection. All kit plates are available for bulk purchase, with free sequence identification included in each bulk sleeve order.
The Gold Microbe Testing Kit detects wild yeasts, aerobic (oxygen-dependent), and anaerobic (oxygen-independent) bacteria. It includes 5 plates (each with 4 quadrants) and 5 tubes of semi-solid media.
