Takara The NucleoSpin 8 RNA Blood kit is designed for purifying RNA from fresh or frozen whole blood in an 8 well-strip format. Samples are lysed in chaotropic salts, which immediately inactivate RNases present in virtually all biological materials and create binding conditions favoring adsorption of RNA to the silica membrane in each well. Contaminating DNA, which is also bound to the silica membrane, is removed by the recombinant DNase solution. Samples can be processed using either vacuum or centrifugation.
