About LEAPS:
Laboratory Equipment Asset Procurement Services is an integrated division of Neta Scientific, Inc. that provides new and existing customers within the global science market with convenient access to end-to-end lab services and insights.
The Business Development Manager, LEAPS is responsible for the complete management of specific customer(s) contracts between the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), from price negotiations, warranty implementations and renewals through the completed purchasing process. Service offering to include OEM Contracts, Procurement, Capital Equipment and Relocation Services.

- • Discover new sales opportunities through networking and converting them into long-term partnerships.
- • Ability to lead a sales team.
- • Develop sales team.
- • Setting sales targets with teams.
- • Present and demonstrate the value of our services to prospective customers.
- • Manage the entire sales cycle from acquiring a client to securing a deal.
- • Category management of MSA agreements.
- • Supplier negotiations.
- • Provide professional after-sale support per MSA agreements.
- • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
- • Attend tradeshows for new business opportunities.
- • Remain in frequent contact with the client to understand their needs.
- • Compile and analyze data for customer metrics.
- • Build long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal department to create a better customer experience.
- • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of complete line of service offerings and can effectively communicate our value proposition to the client.
- • Performs other related duties as required.

Organizational Alignment:
- • Reports to the LEAPS Division Business Development Manager.
- • Works closely with LEAPS Customer Service Manager, and a team of LEAPS Procurement Specialists as well as collaborates with our National Business Development Manager and Business Development Team.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- • This position may have direct supervisory responsibilities and it does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Work Environment:
This is an office based or remote role depending on location.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Neta Scientific, Inc. normally is open for business from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You will be assigned a work schedule and you will be expected to begin and end work according to the schedule. To accommodate the needs of our business, at some point we may need to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.
Travel:
As required to meet the business needs of the organization, customers and suppliers.
Required Education and Experience:
- • Bachelor’s degree or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- • 3+ years of Sales Experience B2B in Pharmaceuticals R&D Equipment Industry desirable.
- • 2+ years of Business Development Experience.
- • 2+ years of Business Analysis.
- • 2 years Project Management Experience desirable.
- • Valid Drivers’ License.
- • Computer skills in Windows, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point desirable.
- • Requires excellent written and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- • BS in Science related field (i.e., Biology, Chemistry).
- • MBA preferred.
