Takara The NucleoSpin 96 RNA Blood kit (2 x 96 preps) is designed for purifying RNA from whole blood on 96-well plates. Samples are lysed in chaotropic salts, which immediately inactivate RNases present in virtually all biological materials and create the binding conditions favoring adsorption of RNA to the silica membrane on the plate. Contaminating DNA, which is also bound to the silica membrane, is removed by the recombinant DNase solution.
