Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS)

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) are synthetically made organofluorine chemical compounds. Commonly known as "forever chemicals", many PFAS compounds do not breakdown in the environment and there is evidence that PFAS exposure can lead to adverse human health. Increasingly, many regulatory agencies like EPA are recommending PFAS testing in water. Agilent has developed workflows to address the unique challenges in PFAS testing.
