RPI Mini-BeadBeater 24 Disruptor; The Mini-BeadBeater 24 Disruptor provides efficient and safe disrupting of microbial or tissue samples. Simply add cells into a standard 2.0ml screw cap vial containing disruption beads and buffer then load closed vial into the removable cassette. Heavy Duty motor creates a strong agitating motion that homogenizes even the most resistant samples such as yeast and fibrous tissue within 1 to 3 minutes. Mini-BeadBeater 24 can also perform dry grinding applications when used with steel beads and Extra-Tuff or Steel Micro-Tubes. Mini-BeadBeater 24 performs all homogenizing functions using disposable micro-tubes and beads. This eliminates the possibility of cross contamination between samples.
