RPI EZ DNA Methlyation-Lightning Kit, 200 Reactions; Zymo Research Bisulfite treatment is the gold standard for the analysis of DNA methylation. Bisulfite treament converts unmodified cytosine to uracil while methylated cytosines are protected from this conversion. Sequence analysis (PCR, hybridization, MSP & Next-Gen sequencing) post treatment provides site specific information of DNA across the genome into uracil. Kits reduce template degradation, minimize DNA loss, and ensure complete conversion of DNA with high level of DNA recovery.

Zymo-Spin IC column technology is ideal for rapid in-column desulphonation and high yield elution of bisulfite-treated DNA. Unique columns allow purification of up to 5 μg of DNA in ≥6μl eluate with no buffer retention or carryover. Kits are specifically engineered for complete conversion of as little as 50pg of DNA in as quickly as 1.5 hours.
